Triple Bypass Avon to Evergreen

On Sunday July 12th, the Triple Bypass heads EAST, starting in Avon, over 3 mountain passes, ending in Evergreen. For those truly interested in a heart-pounding experience, riders are able to complete both ride days in the “Double Triple Bypass.” With two ride days the total number of available entries is 5,000. 3,500 riders will be on the road Saturday, 2,500 riders on Sunday and out of these, 1,000 riders will be riding both days as Double Triple Bypass riders.
SUNDAY RELAY – Want to try the Triple but don’t know if this the year you can complete the whole thing? The Triple Relay allows three riders to combine efforts and each conquer a pass, from Avon to Copper, Copper to Georgetown, or the anchor position of Georgetown to Evergreen. All relay riders receive a jersey, support, and the finish line dinner and party in Evergreen.
DOUBLE TRIPLE BYPASS ENHANCED BENEFITS – for our dedicated Double riders in 2015, they will receive their own unique jersey, additional gear bag and a bag drop-off to Loveland. There is no reason not to give the infamous Double a shot this year – we’ll take care of you along the way
THE ROUTE: Begins in Avon, Colorado heading East on highway 6, the bike path and Frontage Roads through Vail and over Vail Pass. Riders will travel over Vail Pass, through Copper Mountain and into Frisco on the Bike Path. Once in Frisco, riders will take the bike bath adjacent to Dillon Dam through Dillon and into Keystone. From Dillon, riders will travel along Highway 6 over Loveland Pass and into Loveland Ski Area. From Loveland Ski Area riders will take the new Bakerville to Loveland Bike Path through Bakerville, Silver Plum and into Georgetown. From Georgetown, riders will continue East on Frontage Roads to Idaho Springs and onto Highway 103 through Echo Lake and over Juniper Pass/Squaw Pass into the finish area in Buchanan Park, Colorado.
