Friday Afternoon with Unsanctioned Cow
June 14, 2019 @ 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
KNOW THE ROUTE! We will not be stopping for stragglers, so be sure to know where you are going and how to get back!
Start and finish at the Evergreen Legacy Planning office in Evergreen, with hoppy libations to follow. Whether you have big goals for your cycling season this year, or are just looking for an excuse to bag out of work a little early on Fridays, this ride’s got your name all over it.
Most (probably all) rides will have an optional happy hour nearby for that all-important carb-reloading beverage.
The early season rides will range from 20-25 miles with some early cut-off options if you’re pressed for time. Later in the season as the days get longer, we might stretch some to 30+ miles.
We’re very near the intersection of Squaw Pass Road and Evergreen Parkway, so we’re easy to get to off I-70.
Routes will usually range from 20 to 30 miles depending on road conditions and interest level. As days get longer there are a couple of bigger rides that will include Lookout and Red Rocks from Evergreen.
Directions: From the Bergen Parkway, turn west on Castle Court, opposite the fire station. The parking lot for the Centerpoint I building is the third driveway on the right. Feel free to shoot me an email or text me at 720-539-4799 if you need additional directions.
We’re going to be sticklers about the start time so if you’re late, you’ll be chasing. We’d love everyone to stick around for a beer at one of our local watering holes afterward and catch up after a long winter away. This is a great time to reconnect with old friends, meet some new friends, and work on your climbing rhythm and power.
Meet the lovely and talented Matt McClintock and Jonathan Mintz of Evergreen Legacy Planning. A boutique law firm dedicated to thoughtful, creative, and sophisticated tax, estate, and asset protection for their clients. When they aren’t in the office they can often be found riding bikes on the back roads of the Rocky Mountains, enjoying a nice glass of red wine, or cooking up new ideas.
