Team Evergreen Gives $172,000 in 2015

Team Evergreen Cycling is pleased to announce the donation of $172,000 in 2015 to local and national non-profits from the proceeds of the Triple Bypass Bicycle Ride. Through the participation of Triple riders from all over the country, Team Evergreen has been able to convert the hard efforts of cyclists on the saddle into charitable donations, totaling over $1.8 million in the past 16 years.

“Team Evergreen is proud to support those non-profit organizations that participate in our ride as volunteers, charitable groups in communities where the Triple travels and cycling-related organizations in Colorado,” said Kelly Garrod, Team Evergreen Treasurer.

The Triple Bypass, now in its 27th year, is a challenging ride held between Evergreen and Avon during the second weekend in July. Riders complete over 120 miles and 10,000′ of climbing in a single day and travel from many states nationwide to participate in the iconic Colorado cycling event. The Triple Bypass is named for the 3 passes riders travel over during the event – Juniper, Loveland and Vail.
