WHERE DO THE PROCEEDS GO? 

For 2009 roughly 72% of the registration fees went directly to cover the cost of the ride.  These costs include the annual Triple Bypass jersey, Director fees & expenses (Team Evergreen pays a small dedicated staff to organize the ride and manage the ride logistics), permits, police patrols, aid station food, insurance, signage, portable toilets, and the finish line BBQ.  Last year approximately 22% ($110,000) of the proceeds were donated to local charities and cycling organizations who came out to volunteer on ride weekend.
