Great news - we have teamed up with several mountain hotels to offer some amazing lodging deals again this year.  There are great group rates at our partner hotels near the start line.  And…NEW THIS YEAR …several of our finish area properties are offering a free shuttle (including your bike and gear!) to the start line on race morning (reservation required, restrictions apply).  

LODGING INFORMATION: Special Rates for the Triple Bypass for July 8-12, 2010. Rates are available until occupied. Cancellation policy varies from hotel to hotel. 

Beaver Creek Resorts has teamed up with the Triple Bypass for lodging deals that include transportation.  The room rates range from $155 - 229 for a 1-2 bedroom hotel room,  $165 - 285 for a 1-4 bedroom condo!  They will even give you and your bike a complimentary ride to the start line.   (For all the details click here)

TRANSPORTATION

Buses will be available on July 10 at 5pm and 8pm, leaving from the finish area (Avon Elementary School) to transport you and your bike back to Evergreen (Castle Court office park, RTD lot, Bergen Valley Elementary School).  Bus tickets need to be reserved in advance. Return shuttle ticket sales are now closed. Seats on the official return shuttles may be available on a space-available basis for $80 – please check in at the finish line transportation tent no later than 4:00pm (for the 5:00pm shuttle) or 7pm (for the 8pm shuttle) on ride day.

Frequently Asked Questions about Return Transportation from Avon:

I have registered for the 5:00pm Shuttle. What happens if I have not completed the ride and miss the shuttle? - OR – I have registered for the 8:00pm shuttle, what if I finish early and want to go on the 5:00pm shuttle?
No problem - extra space will be available on both shuttles. As long as you have a confirmed reservation, we will make sure you have a ride home! We are collecting cell phone numbers for every rider and will make every attempt to locate you before the final bus departs at 8pm.

How will the bikes be transported?
The passengers will be transported on a motor coach. The bikes will be transported in a separate truck, wrapped in professional moving materials and placed upright. They will NOT be stacked. We respect the value of your equipment and made it a priority to transport the bikes safely.

There are three stops in Evergreen. How do I know which stop is closest to my car?
When you are parking your car, the lots will be named and color coded. Please pay attention to the name and color of your lot before you leave the start area. You might even want to send yourself a text message – as sometimes the little details can get foggy after 120 miles and 3 mountain passes! At the finish line, when you line up to board the buses, they will put a color tag on your bike corresponding with your parking lot. We’ll have a map of the start area at the bus boarding zone to help jog your memory.

Will there be a Luggage Truck to transport a small bag with a change of clothing from the start line in Evergreen to the finish line in Avon?
YES! Team Evergreen provides a complimentary luggage truck at the start line on the morning of the event to transport a small bag to Avon. Luggage drops will be available at the RTD lot, Bergen Valley Elementary and Castle Court office park. We ask the bags be completely zipped up and contain no valuables. Please be sure your bag is marked with your name and cell phone number so that we can locate you if you forget to pick it up after the ride.
